John T. Baker II was raised on a Texas Longhorn cattle ranch in the Austin area. He spent his early years working and studying the land.

To a rancher, understanding the land is critical. He watched the pastures his cattle grazed being converted into subdivisions and other developments. This led him to develop his first subdivision while still in high school.

John T. went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. Since his return to Austin, he has built a strong foundation for his real estate practice by drawing upon his experience with large-tract undeveloped land, property management, tenant & landlord representation, and real estate investing.
